Guelaguetza Festivities

The Guelaguetza takes place annually in Oaxaca to showcase the various Oaxacan traditions and dances of the 7 regions of Oaxaca.   Within each region, towns have their own dances and costumes.  They also display their region's products, which they throw out to the screaming crowd at the end of their dance.
